About Brant Energy Storage
Brant Energy Storage is a proposed new 1GW energy storage project located on land to the west of Coleby.
The planning application for this project has now been submitted to North Kesteven District Council and it can be found on their planning portal using the reference: 25/0533/FUL.

Public consultation
Our consultation launched on the 13 March. As part of this period, we held two information events for the local community, where members of the team were available to answer questions and discuss the proposals in more detail.
Feedback from the community, along with our ongoing environmental assessments and technical work, is helping to inform our plans for Brant Energy Storage.
All the information published as part of our public consultation is available here. We are continuing to welcome feedback on our plans.
North Kesteven District Council will conduct its own statutory consultation before determining the planning application.

Planning submission
A planning application for this scheme was validated by North Kesteven District Council on 6th May. The full suite of planning documents is now available for the public, statutory consultees, and elected members to review and comment.
The planning application reference is as follows: 25/0533/FUL.
